Daniel Fast Eve

Our entire family will be starting the Daniel Fast tomorrow.  We are doing it with our church, Bridgeport. It technically started this evening at 6:30p.m.  I am, strangely enough, a bit excited about it.  I told Lg and Mi about it this afternoon and read to them about Daniel and where the fast comes from.  They're not sure what to think but we will have fun with recipes and eating in a slightly different way.

I just got back from the grocery store.  It was interesting, I felt no desire to purchase anything that was not allowed on the fast.  I liked that.  Anyway, I thought maybe I would chronicle our experience.  It's a 21 day, basically vegan, fast.  You can read more about it on this website I found www.ultimatedanielfast.com
